I will salt a margarita with tears of MAGATs, but there are so many that are breaking ranks with him that I suspect that not many will truly MOURN him other than going through the motions out of a respect that he's never really deserved or earned.
So much powerful writing Susan! I am pleased you have invoked a couple of British poets in support of your views. Maybe the coda should be from Shakespeare (as you mentioned Trump's time on the stage) I know that the Bard was talking about life as a whole but it applies to King Donald with bells on -

I'm not sure how you manage to put out the cleverest and most creative posts I've seen so far on substacks, but I surely am glad that I "found" you/that you and I met.
