Accept No Substitute
Demand Sound Character
Donald John Trump is not a nice man. Or, a smart one. He is a parasite by nature, preference, and habit. He is a predatory, self-serving, corrupt, and vainglorious low life form currently feeding on the hopes, dreams, aspirations, accomplishments, and failures of The American Dream.
An Allegory
In 1776, a group of 56 rich, white male land developers created a homeowner’s association which their promotional materials named “the United States of America”. Their promotional materials included:
1. A Declaration of Independence that declared null and void such claims as any other party might make as to valid title to the property being developed;
2. A Constitution outlining the conditions and restrictions of association operation and membership;
3. Covenants protecting the rights of residents on the property within the purview of the association.
The developers transferred control of the association to the first 13 buyers, their assigns, and heirs in perpetuity. The association thrived during the next 250 years and now has:
1. 50 members of the Board;
2. 3.81 million square miles of property; and,
3. 340.1 million residents.
A Nightmare
Ten years ago, the host of a reality talent game show broadcast by NBC left his lodgings on the 58th floor of his namesake tower in New York City. Accompanied by his third wife, he rode a golden escalator to the lower lobby of the building for a press conference. He used the occasion to declare the American Dream lost. And to proclaim himself the only candidate for high office who could and would return the country to fabled glory days where white was right and gold was good.
63 million residents of the (by this time) barely United States of America agreed with his sour outlook and proposed remedy. Which is an oddly large number of admirers. The Apprentice captured only 8.1 million viewers of the Season 1 finale. The series suffered declining viewership every show of every season thereafter.
His first term was a thoroughgoing disaster.
He left office in disgrace, twice impeached by the House but never convicted by the Senate. He spent an angry interregnum being humiliated by public prosecution of crimes he committed and his misdemeanor conduct before, during, and after his time as the 45th president.
He was found guilty of sexual misconduct by a panel of ordinary citizens. He was found guilty of business crimes by a federal judge. He sued the United States and won a decision that he was immune to penalty for any actions not clearly and solely private while in high office.
Billionaires bankrolled his second run for high office. He declared the American Dream had become a tear-down project during his absence. His was the vision that would rebuild a Big, Beautiful America where (once again) white was right and gold was good. He campaigned promising a Time of Terror and a Tour of Vengeance on anyone or anything (past, present, or future) who disputed his self-serving whims and wishes.
He claimed no knowledge of or support for the Project 2025 playbook for his First 100 Days that his sponsors made public during his campaign.
He demanded that anyone supporting his return to high office understand and accept his intent to conduct himself in a tyrannical fashion for at least Day One.
On 05 Nov 25, 77.3 million residents gave him—a convicted felon, serial rapist, ineffective traitor, lousy businessman, and clueless political pawn--another bite on the apple.
0n 20 Jan 25, he returned to high office as the 47th president. On Day One he signed 26 Executive Orders, the most immediately actionable being the creation of a Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) tasked with finding and eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse in government of the people, by the people, and for the people.
In a little less than 130 days leading the DOGE effort, Elon Musk left America severely impaired operationally and deeply damaged at home and abroad.
As a single, immediately salient example—as of 01 June 25, the start of the hurricane season, NOAA is blind and FEMA is underfunded. People will die. And at least one sitting U.S. Senator brushes off this type of concern with the observation that we all can expect to die at some time, some place, some way. So, what’s the problem or complaint? This open and callous disregard for the welfare, health, and safety of constituents is no longer unique. It is offensive, disrespectful, and objectionable. It fuels the fact and growing strength of Resistance 2.0.
As of 23 May 25, Dictator Donny had practiced his penmanship on 157 formal memoranda to employees of the executive branch.
Generally, these documents are instructions to implement the Project 2025 playbook. Most of the rogue orders have shaky legal basis, usually effecting some immediate or ultimate enrichment of the sitting president and/or his immediate family.
Politico counts more than 100 lawsuits and 50 restraining orders from dozens of lower court federal judges challenging the penchant of the Mad King to declare national security at risk in order to pursue one or another of his scams.
His administration is using executive privilege to appeal every adverse lower court ruling, on an emergency basis, to the partisan Supreme Court which gave him latitude to declare himself King of America. The high court is doing a brisk business in its shadow docket of supporting the unitary executive theory by denying, deflecting, and delaying complaints about Trump 2.0 actions brought before it.
Any complaints about a Do-Nothing Congress ignore the quiet damage proposed by the disreputable SAVE (Safeguard American Voter Eligibility) and disastrous Big Beautiful Budget bills now in process. Some members are not be attending open meetings with irate constituents. They are doing heavy work of dodging responsibility for the consequences of surrendering Article One powers to an increasingly unstable egotist.
An urge to understand the mystery of our troubled time of trial is natural. An attempt to be and remain informed about the details of each moment of political controversy and judicial conflict is exhausting for sure and counterproductive maybe. Refuse to be mesmerized.
The Remedy
While courts quibble over the legality of DOGE cuts and the fatal results of ego-driven administrative actions, protections for the health, safety, and welfare of We the People are exposed to the uncertainty. The food you can afford to put on the table no longer is necessarily pure and nutritious. Whatever fall vaccines are available lack rigorous vetting and close manufacturing monitoring. Your government no longer has your back.
A chief aim of the Constitution as approved by the Founding Father land developers in 1787 was to create a homeowner’s association with enough power to act on a national level, but without so much power that fundamental rights would be at risk. To maintain essential protections like habeas corpus the Constitution created three branches of coequal power (no kings allowed). 100 percent of We the People are living with the intentional crippling of Article One and Three powers, mostly accomplished by strategic use of corruption.
And, here, then, is the nub of the present dilemma—character.
Manifesto
It is essential to the proper operation of our form of government that persons of sound character and good purpose occupy positions of power and action within it.
Let us find them where they are. Let us grow them where we can. Let us support their candidacy with our persons and our purses. Let us insist upon their success at the ballot box and require their faithful service at every level of government in every place of influence and power.
We have the right and the duty to defend ourselves against Trump 2.0, unresponsive representatives, and corrupt jurists. We are entitled to sue for violations of law and/or betrayal of trust. The damage is real and quantifiable.
It will take time and sustained effort to repair the damage to the operation and reputation of our form of government caused by Trump 2.0. In the spirit of the $6 Million Man, we have the ability and the will to restore the American Dream (our fabulous homeowner’s association) to a better, stronger place than where the implementation of Project 2025 found and leaves it.
Tomorrow starts right now in every willing heart and determined mind.
Read each Executive Order. Resist it in every place and every way it damages your life and attacks your value system.
Refuse to be the victim of distraction, deflection, or division.
Anthem
Our statue of liberty has broken chains at her feet.
This administration does not have our leave to reinstall ancient constraints on her or us.
I truly believe that right is might.
Deny despair. Be determined and strategic. Inspire yourself. Strengthen others.
Resist. Persist. Prevail.
In a world where “only the weak will fail,” let us continue to be strong.
We cannot, we will not, fail.
Go, team, go.

Well researched and clearly presented--thank you for this article and visuals. The multiple "WHY???" questions to the multiple executive orders and daily deluge of diversions and lies yields to this one, direct, clear answer to now, which is: Focus on character "Let us find them where they are. Let us grow them where we can. Let us support their candidacy with our persons and our purses. Let us insist upon their success at the ballot box and require their faithful service at every level of government in every place of influence and power."
Thank you for your support, Georgia. I appreciate it and you.
