Bread, Yes
Circus, No
Donald John Trump is a corrupt businessman with a lucrative side gig as the 47th president of these barely United States. A year into his second tour in the Oval Office, he has problems.
1. His body is failing;
2. His intellect is deteriorating;
3. His programs range from evil to untenable:
a. They are immoral, odious, and unpopular;
b. Their implementation is a clear glide path to the loss of the “last best (immediate) hope” for survival of the American union and its democratic ideals of a government “of the people, by the people, and for the people;”
c. He is the dangerous bully and laughing-stock of international allies and enemies; and,
d. He is an unfortunate hiccup of history.
He is America’s Chisler-in-Chief. Enough of us believed in his spiel of misogynistic and racial bile to give him, a convicted felon and adjudicated sexual predator, another bite at the precious apple of American power, prestige, and purpose.
We were forewarned of a second term playbook called Project 2025.
A strategy that would benefit the Intergalactic Billionaire or Better Boys Club of Undeniable and Unassailable Patriarchal Privilege at the expense of:
1. Our historic form and function of government;
2. The health and well-being of 90% of the governed;
3. The stability the guardrails of world peace and stability; and,
4. Planetary- and near- space- health.
We the People elected a clown. We also got a circus of sycophantic support that sickens the moral mind.
Here is the biggest problem facing Trump 2.0.
Its shelf life is limited by our interest in it.
The act is stale.
Ugly.
Unacceptable.
And unsustainable.
In the streets and on the overpasses, the resolve and cleverness of Resistance 2.0 is more interesting to us than who is laying tired and tawdry tribute before our Mad King. Those persons and institutions that surrender the well-being of We the People on the altar of their own personal comfort, their precious corporate and institutional balance sheets, and humanitarian principles will be remembered, reviled, and reformed.
Here is the bottom line.
The proletariat, the governed, the humble life blood of every form of government ever tried wants two things:
1. Bread; and,
2. Peace.
Circus is entertaining. It is not sustaining. It is optional.
Begone, Trump 2.0.
You are a faithless platitude administered by self-serving loyalists and all-too-evident power brokers.
1. As to bread:
a. You promised life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness available at affordable prices paid from decent wages.
b. Instead, We the People bear 90% of the increases in cost of goods and services affected by TACO tariffs of the moment and questionable purpose. Not just bread has become dear.
2. As to peace:
a. You promised peace in your time.
b. Instead: In service to the brand and real estate portfolio of the sitting president and his loyalists:
1.) Abroad: The administration intermeddles in armed conflict among enemies and betrays treaty trusts with allies; and,
2.) At Home: Without invitation, the administration occupies places of common life with military might and paramilitary gangs, both bearing arms against the human rights and constitutional protections of every person of every color, age, gender, nationality, and legal status encountered.
Election 2026 will fold the tents of the lick-spittle 119th Congress.
This is not an empty boast.
Or some hopeful prophesy.
This is a game plan.
And a promise.
Resolve feeds on repression.
Meditation
The World Economic Forum Annual Meeting held in late January at Davos, Switzerland, was attended by 60 heads of state/government, including G7 and BRICS leaders, along with roughly 830 top CEOs.
1. The Right Honorable Mark Carney of Canada, in one thundering address of resistance and resolve, became the voice and will of the free world;
2. Delegates gave a standing ovation to the plea of Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the President of Ukraine, for international support for his country’s defense of:
a. Its territory;
b. Its sovereignty;
c. The validity and strength of international laws and treaties; and,
d. The stability and safety of Europe.
3. U.S. state-level leaders, including Governors Gavin Newsom and Gretchen Whitmer, highlighted the role of sub-national governments in innovation and policy.
California is using its economy and principles to invent and implement reform. Its governor is assuring representatives to the global Security Conference meeting in Munich in early February that the sitting president and his administration are a passing regret, best challenged rather than accommodated.
These are serious and hopeful instances of and voices for resistance to Trump 2.0.
However, they are not enough.
While the world at large seems to be playing Duck and Cover, it is up to We the People to discommode Trump the Terrible.
We allowed him access to our playground. We can and we must evict his criminal conduct and unconstitutional practices from it.
Manifesto
We the People need to stay on target at home.
We must continue to demand respect for our presence and power.
We must insist upon a return to a sustainable condition of voluntary, unsurveilled domestic tranquility.
For the next eleven months, we must continue to require our Congress to do its constitutional duty—to represent our will and to further our best interests faithfully. Or retire.
Forgiveness is a lost luxury when our taxes are used to:
1. Send armed and masked forces to:
a. Occupy our cities;
b. Surveille peaceful protests of abuse of executive power;
c. Accost, detain, and incarcerate persons of color for the crime of working while brown or driving while black;
d. Intercept and assault citizens and disabled persons in process of vehicular transit; and/or,
e. Go door to door and breach areas of residence by surprise and force without warrant.
2. Betray allies and give succor and support to known enemies.
Mandate
It is the nature of all life on this beautiful and fierce planet Earth to struggle to survive. At minimum.
We the People are comprised of individuals. Each of us is blessed with an inalienable Power of One. Aspiration is as natural and necessary as breath. Each of us cannot help but to wish, to strive to be safe. To prevail.
Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness may be negotiable. They never cease as primary objectives.
Government of the people, by the people and for the people requires We the People to continue to use the power of our persons and our purses to demand respect for and compliance with the plain face wording of:
1. The Declaration of Independence;
2. The Constitution of the United States;
3. All amendments; and,
4. Supporting legislation and customs in place on 19 January 2025.
Together, we are invincible.
While the Tyrant Trump takes his sad show of distraction, abuse of power, lack of morality, and dereliction of duty abroad, let us covenant to remain present, loud, persistent, and purposeful.
1. Defund ICE;
2. Provide immediate, adequate, and continuing support for Ukraine’s fight to evict Russia from territory invaded and occupied since 2014; and,
3. Provide funding for the health, welfare, and security of the governed.
Let us covenant to remember ourselves well. Let Resistance 2.0 continue to:
1. Build understanding and solidarity;
2. Keep our message and our persons on the streets, on the overpasses, and in court;
3. Use our purses to punish DEI deniers;
4. Demand legislative responsiveness and integrity; and,
5. Energize friends, acquaintances, and passing motorists to want to protect their right and exercise the privilege of their vote for their own protection and benefit up and down the Election 2026 ballot.
Let us protest until we prevail.
Go, team, go.

As before, the House may find a way to fashion an Article that falls outside the umbrella of immunity granted by the Supreme Court; the likelihood of the Senate removing a sitting president from office is slim. The cartoon meant only to note the sensitivity of the president to another assault on his brand. That’s what his mid-term maneuvering signals.
