Musk’s Chaos Program
Will Fail
Trump is a shock jock. Musk is his Chaos Agent. The old two-party political system bromide is destroyed by the current single-party system. See. There will be no (single rod) pendulum effect—where extremes of opinion and power reliably swing toward a middle resting point.
By common definition, chaos is a state of utter confusion. Operationally, today’s political chaos is a departure from order significant enough to destroy our pre-existing (one-rod) condition of seeking balance. To be clear—15 days of Project 2025 implementation has broken the single rod pendulum of political power balance with which we are familiar. The pendulum rod is now in two pieces hinged at its breaking point. There is no going back. There only is going forward.
Here is an animation of a double-rod pendulum at an intermediate energy showing chaotic behavior. Starting the pendulum from a slightly different initial condition would result in a vastly different trajectory. The double-rod pendulum is one of the simplest dynamical systems with chaotic solutions.

Gird your loins.
Embrace misfortune as an opportunity for improvement.
Use the presence of your person and the power of your purse to resist implementation of Project 2025 every day in every legal way. Turn Trump’s legal delaying tactics back upon him. Keep good and faithful civil servants in their positions, pending determinations of the legality of actions taken by Musk to remove or replace them. Keep these seasoned and competent employees and non-profit organizations paid from funds already authorized by congress for release. Keep their health protected. Keep them executing their duties (toward the health, welfare, and safety of us each and all) in compliance with the oath of allegiance they took to the Constitution of these barely United States. Keep them exempt from a loyalty oath to Trump which supersedes, and may conflict with, the promise of ethical conduct each made, as a condition of employment.
From the chaos, bring forth a stronger nation rededicated to the proposition that all of us are created equal. That we each and all have inalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That consent of the governed and the rule of law across three cross-checked branches of governance are not open to transactional change to the benefit of someone other than We the People.
Persist.
Prevail.

The chaos explanation and visual of the broken pendulum is exactly what is happening. We don't like it and millions of Americans will suffer harm--millions who voted for Trump and will feel the deepest outrage and betrayal when the wrecking ball takes a direct hit on their money, their health, their family, and community. Your Chaos illustration helped me think about what we can do to make a difference. Thanks to you we understand what chaos looks like --more importantly, why individual actions, decisions, and resistance are totally within our control and responsibility. There are many legal ways to cut off the money, the power, and the attention that fuels the Chaos Fire. We learned a simple lesson in grade school: To put out the fire, withdraw the elements feeding the fire, such as air and flammable material. Quickly, without more conversation.
