To be clear. Donald John Trump is not sane. He is not a stable personality. And he is not a genius along any legitimate scale of intellectual measurement.
He is a failed businessman and a convicted felon.
He is a traitor. He gives open aid and comfort to the enemies of America.
He is the darling of people and institutions he despises and abuses.
The first 120 days of his second term in high office are a timeless cautionary tale. Trump 2.0 is a functioning poster child for the waste, fraud, and abuse it purports to eliminate. Its graft and corruption are open, institutionalized, celebrated, and rewarded.
His gives short shrift and no respect to allies, treaties, and agreements.
He says he likes stupid people. His Time of Terror and Tour of Revenge has gutted the intelligence and innovation capability of government at every place and level. This is very dangerous business. On 01 June 25 we will enter hurricane season with NOAA blind, the NWS gutted, and FEMA underfunded.
He is a socially ostracized boor. His petulant attack on the arts is alarming, but not totally unexpected. On 12 Feb 25, the guy laid siege to your heart, your hopes, your spirit, and your identity by assuming control of the performing arts. His only previous tie to the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts was attending a performance of “Cats” with some unnamed one he admits was not an appropriate pairing.
Thought control measures are compromising the public education and library systems.
The Worst Part
Cuts to the FDA make it uncertain whether the food you can afford to put on your table and into your mouth is safe to ingest. Faith in the purity and efficiacy of seasonal vacinnes is lost in cuts to NIH and a hobbled FDA. Whether your airplane fails in flight or trying to perform routine ground to air transfer operations is almost less scary than contemplating what bad actor the overwhelmed TSA and thinned terminal security staffs have allowed to share the cabin.
The climate of fear (for self, family, friends, country, and world) created by the implementation of the Project 2025 playbook is purposeful. It is effective within the woke world. It gnaws on rhe soul of trust. It feasts on bewilderment and a sense of betrayal. And this is just the harvest of the infamous First 100 Days.
Control is the objective.
An increasing number of learned voices and less reliable conspiracy theorists contemplate the second 100 days as the time when, historically, a successful authoritarian finds it useful and necessary to resort to deception—to deploy inflammatory incidents to justify the use of force to move past mind control to crowd control. David Corn, in his Substack posting of 20 May 25, noted:
“Phoney threats are the currency of authoritarianism, and, thus, must be watched closely and debunked immediately—before thay can be acted upon.”
We are not in a happly place when the head of the Department of Homeland Security believes that the writ of habeas corpus is “a constitutional right that the president has” to do ANYTHING. And when the head of the Article Two Department of Trump Justice files a complaint against a duly elected (black female) representative of the people for execrising her sworn Article One oversight duties and responsibilities.

The time is ripe for Resistance 2.0 to become even more bold.
Increase the volume and instances of resistance.
Consider making more “good trouble.” Go on the offensive. Enough willful and clearly self-serving damage has been done to justify a pleading against Mr. Big in equity for restitution of funds unjustly gained for personal use. The Trump v United States decision leaves him open to prosecution for objectionable private acts. The very filing of such a complaint, in any applicable jurisdiction, would distract and seriously disturb the Trump 2.0 Magic Show.
Hats off to those who are planning, supporting, and attending visible signs of a growing resistance to Trump 2.0. And all honor and glory to the educational institutions, lower court justices, politicians, lawyers, journalists, and media spokespersons defying implementation of the illegal aspects of the Project 2025 playbook.
And praise all gods great and small for the reporters and editors at The Washington Post for trailing the smoke back to the trigger finger on the hot Trump 2.0 gun.
The early strengthening of Resistance 2.0 is a precious and fragile early spring flower. It needs constant care and close attention to survive and thrive. Do not let the 04 May 25 Washington Post reporting disappear.
It is important to remember that Donald John Trump believes “only the weak will fail.”
Let us continue to be faithful, strategic, and strong in our resistance to the fact and effects of his Reign of Terror and Tour of Revenge.
Let us continue to pull up our socks and step into the breach now, every Power of One person dissatisfied with the results and consequences of Election 2024. As Robert Hubbell stated in his 21 May 25 posting “Wherever we are, whatever we can do, the most important thing is that we do something.” Courage is contagious.
Let us continue to put into play our persons and our purses every day in every peaceful way everywhere all at once to demand:
A return to positions of principle those persons, institutions, and organizations betraying a public trust in their integrity when bending a knee, kissing the ring, funding the personal wealth, or furthering the ambitions of Donald John Trump.
The bringing of criminal charges against Musk and articles of impeachment against Trump.
Resumption of support of Ukraine, NATO, WHO, IMF and related international organizations and accords dedicated to the proposition of global peace, health, and prosperity.
The bringing of articles of impeachment against corrupt justices now contaminating the opinions of the high court.
Referendum and recall of congressional representatives not faithful to their oath of office and/or unresponsive to the concerns and wishes of their constituents.
Creation of a Shadow Cabinet charged with daily briefings of administrative assaults upon the rule of law, the health, safety, and welfare of We the People, and simple decency.
Course correction on the conduct of matters related to national security.
Open, timely, and impartial consideration of and rulings on pleadings regarding the constitutionality of executive and administrative actions taken by Trump 2.0 and its implementation of the Project 2025 playbook.
Our statue of liberty has broken chains at her feet.
This administration does not have our leave to reinstall ancient constraints on her or us.
I truly believe that right is might.
Resist. Persist. Prevail.
In a world where “only the weak will fail,” let us continue to be strong.
We cannot, we will not, fail.

Keep writing the truth in short words and with pictures--that works. You are wise to remind us to stay awake, stay prepared, put in a garden if you want to eat, and don't go it alone.
It's exhausting to keep holding the shield up to reflect the daily attacks of lies and corruption. Still, we must rest, renew, and maintain our resilience. And keep showing up, not giving up.
