Donald John Trump is a corrupt businessman with a lucrative side gig as the 47th president of these barely United States. He is a dangerous embarrassment to himself, America, and all animal, vegetable, and mineral life forms on this planet and in near space.
He is immune to the personal, national, and global consequences of shooting himself in the foot with his self-enriching and unlawful whims, proclamations, and executive actions.
In a mystery of our times, all knees at home and abroad bend to his gleeful lawlessness. His willfully toxic brand is a loose cannon aboard the dearly beloved ship Democracy.
Twelve months after the disappointing results and awful consequences of Election 2024, voters returned to the polls 0n 04 Nov 25. There, they shook the foundations of his temple of lies and radical racial cleansing programs with a resounding “Stop it!!!”
Trump 2.0 responded with two weeks of vicious domestic abuses and a braying round of international bullying.
.The Tyrant Trump has confused his vainglorious mode of transactional operation with diplomatic strength. No one who has read George Orwell believes or trusts him. The Nobel Prize committee certainly is not confused about the reasons for, nature of, and unfortunate consequences attributable to his peacekeeping misadventures.
Oh, Happy Day
On 18 Nov 25, both houses of Congress surrendered to the will of the people by passing proposed legislation to release the Epstein files to public view and consideration. The vote was 427 to 1 in the House. All 100 senators ducked by calling the House action a done deal requiring no personal commitment or courage.
The same fateful day, a panel of three federal judges threw a spanner in one of the works of the Mad King’s most outrageous and public attempts to rig the 2026 election results in his favor. The panel blocked Texas from using midterm census data to draw a new congressional map for the 2026 elections. The map was created to give the Republican party an additional 5 seats in the House. The decision of the 2-1 majority cited evidence that the map was an illegal racial gerrymander that diluted minority voting power. The court ordered Texas to use the 2021 map instead. Texas immediately appealed the decision to the partisan U.S. Supreme Court.
For the first time in quite a while, the Mad King was threatened by the events of the day. Regardless of the diversionary blizzard of deals, steals, domestic suppressions, and international aggressions, his brand and personal liberty were at unacceptable risk. In his remarks of the moment, he played his famous air accordion. The way he does when he is trying to sell his way out of a corner into which his misconduct has painted him.
Just to ice the cake on a day of domestic defeat, the Traitor Trump welcomed Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) to the White House. The guy who authorized the 2018 murder and dismemberment of his critic, journalist Jamal Khashoggi. To no avail, representatives of persons killed during or as a consequence of 9/11 howled in protest at the honorific treatment of MBS.
Through the day and into the evening of his political dénouement, Mr. Lame Duck ignored:
1. Defeat in the courts of public and legal opinion; as well as
2. Criticism he did not dismiss or attack outright.
And, generally, made a sad public spectacle of his sorry self. He:
1. Dismissed the Khashoggi murder as one of those things that “just happen” to ornery reporters;
2. Disparaged members of the press pool with the temerity to question his character and/or that of his royal guest;
3. Proved he was neither a jock or a hood by fumbling a simple high five;
4. Laughed like a hyena at his own lies; and,
5. Honored MBS with a black-tie dinner for 140 close billionaire handlers interested in some part of the $1 trillion deal going down in public view. As well as access to and participation in the pay to play side deals on nuclear energy and artificial intelligence.
To the dismay and concern of those with eyes to see and a memory of any decent length, Elon Musk was in attendance and apparent good odor.
Promises for F-35 fighter jets, GE engines, and security assurances like those extended to Qatar were made without congressional input or approval.
Not mentioned--Saudi participation in a crypto-tied resort in the Maldives being proposed by the real estate arm of the Trump organization.
The Beat Goes On
The craven and self-serving actions of both the executive and legislative branches of our government, on 18 Nov 25, are not normal or acceptable. Consideration of an example of right moral and political conduct on 19 Nov 1863 begs mention and our attention.
That Was Then.
1. The Turning of a Terrible Tide. Between 12 April 1861 and 26 May 1865, brothers fighting under Union and Confederate flags spilled 50,000 of each other’s blood. Halfway through the conflict, between 01 and 03 July 1863, the two sides met on the fields of Gettysburg. Meade forced Lee to retreat. The battle is viewed as the event that determined the outcome of the only formal war between the citizenry of this country.
2. Remarks to Be Remembered. On 19 Nov 1963, 15,000 persons gathered at Gettysburg to hear remarks about the 3,000 Union soldiers killed there. Senator Edward Everett was the headliner. He spoke for about two hours. His sentiments were sincere and written on the wind. Lincoln followed. He spent two minutes reading 271 words of profound merit that speak of determined faith to this very day in similarly troubled times.
“… our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.
“Now we are …testing whether … any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure…. we here highly resolve that …this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom—and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.”
This Is Now.
Trump 2.0 put America to the test and under fire for ten cruel and chaotic months. November of 2025 marks another turning point in this country’s struggle for integrity, unity, and endurance. The results of voting on 04 Nov 25 coupled with the legal and political push-backs of 18 Nov 25 might not have the panache of throwing tea in Boston harbor, storming the Bastille, or firing on Fort Sumter—but they do combine to give a quiet legitimacy to the efforts of Resistance 2.0 to protest effectively against the implementation of the Project 2025 playbook.
What Is Next—Business as Usual
The administration very likely will not comply willingly, much less fully, with release of the unredacted (widely scattered) files of Jeffery Epstein. “National security” issues will block unrestricted scrutiny. Flying in the face of history, against the objections of NATO partners, and in violation of every previous commitment to honor and decency in the conduct of foreign affairs in Europe, Putin’s Pal will continue to press for the fall of Ukraine. ICE marauders will abuse human and constitutional rights at whatever urban location Ding Dong Donnie declares as being beset by a foreign invasion. The Border Patrol will continue to supplement cruel, unusual, illegal, and unconscionable ICE operations at locations remote from any national boundary. And, Mr. Outrageous will suggest painting the Eisenhower Office Building white.
Congress will relax into its reflexive mode of kabuki posturing and partisan bickering. Unless and until frightened into right action responsive to the will and needs of their constituents, members of the legislature will implement the Tyrant Trump’s big, awful, selectively illegal, and almost completely unsustainable budget bill.
Like as not, the Roberts Court will continue to abuse precedent and principle for partisan purposes.
Manifesto
We the People unhappy with the results of Election 2024 cannot cease to resist its consequences. We cannot allow ourselves to be satisfied with the little taste of success our grassroot efforts enjoyed in November of 2025. It is essential for Resistance 2.0 to stay active and vocal all the way to Election 2026.
Anthem
Trump 2.0 has delivered no benefit to 92% of the governed. That is the message to be sent in every mode everywhere all the time from here to 03 Nov 2026.
When complaining:
1. Be specific;
2. Be strategic;
3. Stay faithful and funny.
Continue to:
1. Harness your individual and indivisible Power of One to defy attempts to compromise your inalienable human and constitutionally protected rights;
2. Find and band with like minds to outnumber bad actors and out maneuver unfaithful representatives;
3. Be generous toward those more hurt and/or less secure than you; and,
4. Be or locate and support a person of sound character interested in serving the public good in elected office.
Demand:
1. Respect for the governed here; and,
2. Support abroad for Ukraine’s rightful fight to evict Russia from territory invaded and occupied since 2014.
In support of those noble aspirations, let us covenant to:
Be faithful
Be firm
Be resolved
Be present
And, further, to:
Rise
Remain
Resist
Persist
Prevail
And, to continue to wonder and ask— “What’s in those Epstein files?”

The 99% of Americans who are NOT billionaires and no longer buying what they used to put in their grocery cart because of rapidly rising costs are telling Trump, "What a big liar you are to say prices are down and the economy is good!
