With his Election 2024 win, he can allow himself to escape punishment for his criminal conduct and civil peccadillos—before, while, and after his first term in office.
As he prepares to return to the White House, he is populating the framework of his administration with bootlickers straight off the Project 2025 playbook casting couch. If you can admire the man for nothing else, give Trump credit as heir of B.T. Barnam’s callous assessment of the crowds he gulled.

Allegorically, America won the right to wear ruby slippers of protection in 2020. Now we are some distance down the Oz’s golden road. Our band of timid travelers is walking in the dark woods where unseen dangers threaten. “Lions, tigers and bears. Oh, my!”
