1. In Washington, D.C.—Weather permitting, the sitting president of these barely United States will celebrate his 79th birthday by hijacking a commemoration of the 250th anniversary of this nation’s (heretofore) carefully constrained armed forces;
Hear, hear. I'll be making my appearance at a "No Kings" event tomorrow. No sign, no bullhorn, just standing shoulder to shoulder with however many others feel compelled to show up. I don't intend to resist any official who might attempt to corral the crowd one way or another. Just showing up and compelling them to show up as well should be enough, in my opinion. I'll turn around, go home and plan to be there again at the next opportunity. I won't be ignored, but won't be confrontational either.
