It’s War
What keeps my sense of wonder alive is how voters winning Election 2024 could believe the price of eggs and gas was more important than their personal freedom, health, and security.
The existence and nature of the intent of the Project 2025 playbook were known before votes were cast in Election 2024. It was easy to ignore the velocity and underestimate the ferosity of its implementation.
Well, Mr. Big is back.
More unhinged and less constrained than of yore.
He is working a personal enrichment program at warp speed.
He is betraying the traditional oath of office, misrepresenting our national character and interests, and playing footsie with Putin again.
75 days into his second term in office, a lot of folks decided to take to the street to try to stop the bleeding. On 05 Apr 25, crowds were demanding “Hands Off” their life, liberty, health, safety, and security. On that date Ding Dong Donny was too busy cheating at golf and fleecing fat cats to give the event attention or assign it any importance.
Rest assured, he will take notice of the resistance in due time. He very likely will view it and name it an “emergency.” This assertion will allow him to use force against those persons refusing to be governed by him. It is his habit and pleasure to double down against a perceived threat to his pageant of power.
He is not just above the law. He IS the law.—until such time, if ever, that John Roberts’ Quisling Court takes the risk of a constitutional crisis by calling him out.
So, yes, it is war.
On one side--A nation founded in protest against a whimisal king and harsh taxes levied without consent.
On the other side—The proposition of a “unitary executive” enjoying the latitude of a cowed congress and tame justice system.

With that in mind, let us keep our resistance simple, strategic, and constructive.
Let us pull up our socks and step into the breach now, every Power of One person dissatisfied with the results and consequences of Election 2024. Let us put into play our persons and our purses to demand:
A return to positions of principle those persons, institutions, and organizations betraying a public trust in their integrity when bending a knee, kissing the ring, funding the personal wealth, or furthering the ambitions of Donald John Trump.
The bringing of criminal charges against Musk and articles of impeachment against Trump.
Referendum and recall of congressional representatives not faithful to their oath of office and/or unresponsive to the concerns and wishes of their constituents.
Creation of a Shadow Cabinet charged with daily briefings of administrative assaults upon the rule of law, the health, safety, and welfare of We the People, and simple decency.
Course correction on the conduct of matters related to national security.

Perfect words for this Monday. Trump declared war on the world, including everyone who supported him or not. The massive turnout of crowds he always wanted happened, but they were not cheering him. They were carrying a full deck, including the bullshit card. With an estimated 1,400 rallies this weekend, the turnout was beyond amazing. The vibe was peaceful, hopeful, and resilient. Our resistance is rising, and it’s clear there is something powerful building in America. That's it in a nutshell: Trump destroys. We the People build.
This actually led me to research referendums and recalls.
