Tick Tock
Time, Perception, Reality
An understanding of the first three mathematical dimensions measuring space (width, height, depth) guides a safe and coherent glide path through life. Time is the 4th dimension. A steady and sane mind enables its owner to know and accurately name time as we measure it to the minute (without reference to any outside input). Science acknowledges and is actively pursuing a better understanding the relationship of space, time, and matter within a fifth dimension (as manifested in phenomena associated with string theory, M-theory, and dark matter.)
Most pundits, politicians, and Substack thought leaders are measuring the duration of the second term of Donald John Trump in high office in terms of sequential days (TIME.) It defies individual will and temporal limits to try to capture, describe and analyze the DIMENSIONS and FORCE of the implementation of any one of the Project 2025 action items tumbling through our world in a purposefully “flooded zone” strategy.
Risk Assessment
A reliable, albeit terrifying, source names, measures, and reports the forces behind, as well as the combined and cumulative EFFECT of, this moment in history.
It is the metaphorical Doomsday Clock. And it is ticking.
Scientists in charge of the creation and maintenance of this measuring device set its hands at a symbolic 7 minutes to midnight in 1947. When Putin invaded Ukraine, analysts moved the hands of the clock to 90 seconds to midnight--closer to a moment of global nuclear holocaust than any time since 1947. The results of Election 2025 caused scientists to diminish the time left for course correction to a symbolic 89 seconds.
We’ve come a long way, baby.
Background and Update
“The Doomsday Clock is a symbol that represents the estimated likelihood of a human-made global catastrophe, in the opinion of the nonprofit organization Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists.[1] Maintained since 1947, the Clock is a metaphor, not a prediction, for threats to humanity from unchecked scientific and technological advances. That is, the time on the Clock is not to be interpreted as actual time. A hypothetical global catastrophe is represented by midnight on the Clock, with the Bulletin's opinion on how close the world is to one represented by a certain number of minutes or seconds to midnight, which is then assessed in January of each year. The main factors influencing the Clock are nuclear warfare, climate change, and artificial intelligence.[2][3] The Bulletin's Science and Security Board monitors new developments in the life sciences and technology that could inflict irrevocable harm to humanity.[4]
The Clock's original setting in 1947 was 7 minutes to midnight. It has since been set backward 8 times and forward 18 times. The farthest time from midnight was 17 minutes in 1991, and the closest is 89 seconds, set in January 2025.[5]” (Emphasis added.)

The analysis of forces causing scientists to adjust the position of the symbolic hands on the metaphorical clock makes for worthwhile (and recommended) reading. Here is the link:

I find the following excerpt from the most recent report worth including verbatim.
“The battered information landscape is also producing leaders who discount science and endeavor to suppress free speech and human rights, compromising the fact-based public discussions that are required to combat the enormous threats facing the world.
Blindly continuing the current path is a form of madness. The United States, China, and Russia have the collective power to destroy civilization. These three countries have the prime responsibility to pull the world back from the brink, and they can do so if their leaders seriously commence good-faith discussions about the global threats outlined here. Despite their profound disagreements, they should take that first step without delay. The world depends on immediate action.”
Clearly, Trump 2.0 and its implementation of the Project 2025 playbook must not be allowed to stand or continue.
Anthem
Understand the moment and its consequences.
Take responsibility for your actions. Or a decision to try to “sit this one out.”
We the People can run but we cannot hide from the implementation of the callous, cruel, and corrupt Project 2025 playbook. Or, we can resist. We can “just say ‘no’.”
The Power of One is indivisible and historically potent.
When enough committed individuals rise in unison and protest, tyrants fail and fall.
Acknowledge the chaos as in force and declare it unacceptable.
Let each of We the People unhappy with the results and consequences of Election 2024 every day in every legal way use our persons and our purses to deny, delay, disable, disassemble, and destroy implementation of the Project 2025 playbook.
1. Of our elected representatives--Demand identification of persons of good character and relevant experience to sit a Shadow Cabinet. Require them to daily protest illegalities, injustices and inequities proposed or enacted within their sphere of expertise.
2. Of ourselves—Keep a calm weather eye out for a true and actionable voice of resistance. Such a force routinely and spontaneously arises from citizens forced into acts of civil disobedience. When he or she or they surface, support their call for a return to law and order.
Persist.
Prevail.
That government of the people, by the people, and for the people shall not perish from the oh so precious earth on our watch.

Trump is worse than the pandemic. Nobody liked that. That horror had one name (COVID) and massive global community cooperation to create a vaccine and provide public health information along the way. Trump-Musk-Vance daily attack on individual rights, jobs, and daily lives is exhausting, and more than 100 different names and lawsuits-- just in a few weeks since inauguration day.
Your anthem is the only song we need to sing. Specifically, we need to choose kindness and joy instead of fear and hate. We the individual people must up our game on getting away from screens and focus on building community support, staying informed, and preparing for potential policy changes that could affect our rights and daily lives. This includes practical steps like updating important documents, thinking through emergency plans and "what if" scenarios, plus planting gardens and stocking up on necessary supplies.
