Tough to Take
As We Wait
During his interregnum, Donald John Trump was accused of criminal conduct related to Election 2020. He sued the United States justice system, pleading immunity from actions charged in lower courts as criminal, and won.
In a 6-3 decision, on 01 July 24 the Supreme Court ruled that presidents have absolute immunity for acts committed as president within their core constitutional purview, at least presumptive immunity for official acts within the outer perimeter of their official responsibility, and no immunity for unofficial acts.[5][6][7][8] The Court declined to rule on the scope of immunity for some acts alleged of Trump in his indictment, instead vacating the appellate decision and remanding the case to the district court for further proceedings.
Self-Serving Chaos
Double Down Donny used the protections granted him in 2024 to unleash a self-serving torrent of executive orders and national emergency declarations. His Time of Terror and Tour of Revenge yielded criminal actions that returned him to the tender mercies of a corrupt and partisan Supreme Court in early April of 2025. The court slapped his hands for suspending habeas corpus and related due process protections as part of his immigrant deportation program. It instructed him to behave nicely in the future.
He did not. Trump 2.0 disrespected the favorable Supreme Court rulings. It is proceeding with a Rapid Deportation Program which tries to trick its way procedurally around active restraining orders from lower courts. It is remanding innocent immigrants and persons accused of being alien terrorists to foreign countries. The deportees are not allowed forward notice or any meaningful opportunity to resist removal.
Round Three
Around 1:00 AM on 19 Apr 25, the Court responded to emergency pleadings with an order stating “the Government is directed not to remove any member of the putative class of detainees from the United States until further order of this court.” The order blocked Trump 2.0 from renditioning any more Venzuelans under the Alien Enemies Act. It was unsigned. Two justices dissented—Thomas and Alito.
The order has wider implications. As stated in The Contrarian on 19 Apr 25: “To the extent the Government removes even one individual without affording him notice and a meaningful opportunity to file and pursue habeas relief, it does so in direct contravention of an edict by the United States Supreme Court.”
Innocent immigrants granted protection from return to the country from which they fled for good reason now have some footing for resisting the illegal aspects of the Rapid Deportation Program. As do “homegrown bad actors” resisting implementation of the Project 2025 playbook.
Round Four Concerns
It is difficult, if not impossible, to understand or justify the legal basis for Thomas and Alito dissenting the 19 Apr 25 order. There is no reading of the constitution that points to, accomodates, or supports the notion of monarchial power or conduct vested in and exercised by the person duely and fairly elected to head the executive branch. The odds are excellent that the Mad King will continue to misbehave. Another interaction with the Supreme Court seems certain. And, pending an act of God or Congress, Thomas and Alito will be part of deiiberations considering whatever fresh new hell of cases of first impression the Department of Trump Justice can invent and wag into court.
The Powers Behind Their Thrones
These two mavericks sit the bench due to machinations of The Heritage Foundation and Mitch McConnell. Their opinions are tainted by unethical interactions with members of the Billionaire Boys Club.
They are an embarassment to the justice system. It is getting very difficult to believe their opinions on the bench are impartial.
Graft is not the only concern. Undue influence can be exerted from sources other than “gifts from friends.”
Clarence Thomas and Samuel Anthony Alito, Jr. share a problem begging for remedy.
They each badly need to grow a new pair. Or, in the alternative, ask their wives to return the original sets.
A reunion with their dignity and independence would allow them to attempt to regain some semblance of professional sanity and public regard.
Anthem
These are interesting times. We the People now must wait for the next exciting chapter in the Clash of the Titans (between the imperial executive and his corrupt high court). Will the 7-2 margin of sanity and sound jurisprudence hold? Will Thomas and Alito be allowed to continue to participate? Stand by time on these questions likely will be brief.
It is important to remember that Donald John Trump believes “only the weak will fail.”
Let us be faithful, strategic, and strong in our resistance to the fact and effects of his Reign of Terror and Tour of Revenge.
Let us pull up our socks and step into the breach now, every Power of One person dissatisfied with the results and consequences of Election 2024.
Let us put into play our persons and our purses to demand:
A return to positions of principle those persons, institutions, and organizations betraying a public trust in their integrity when bending a knee, kissing the ring, funding the personal wealth, or furthering the ambitions of Donald John Trump.
The bringing of criminal charges against Musk and articles of impeachment against Trump.
The bringing of articles of impeachment against corrupt justices now contaminating the opinions of the high court.
Referendum and recall of congressional representatives not faithful to their oath of office and/or unresponsive to the concerns and wishes of their constituents.
Creation of a Shadow Cabinet charged with daily briefings of administrative assaults upon the rule of law, the health, safety, and welfare of We the People, and simple decency.
Course correction on the conduct of matters related to national security.
I truly believe that right is might.
In a world where “only the weak will fail,” let us be strong.
We cannot, we will not, fail.

I'm praying that Americans can be strong in the light of all the Trump induced chaos, where the worst Pres in historyseems want to Trump every bad executive decision with a worse one each week. Trump seems to be taking a leaf out of the book 1984, turning enemies into friends, and allies into hostile enemies.
According to the Australian ABC international news this morning, the Euro, and Australian dollar are strengthening again after recent trade war falls. Our top economic analyst declared global economies are in a downturn, but without a doubt the US economy will be harmed to a far greater degree than anywhere else. By imposing blanket 10% tariffs on his Allies, the Orange idiot has doomed the US to a recession, if not full blown great depression where costs for the average non-billionaire Josephine and Joe Blow are really going to blow out of all proportion.
Unlike the Great Depression a century ago, though. There will be jobs. Yes, the lowest paid jobs in America will be begging for people to take them. The cleaning jobs, the janitors, the lawn mowers, garbage collectors, fruit pickers, farm labourers; the jobs previously favoured by illegal immigrants who have now been deported will be available in droves.
Every country outside the US is being asked to extricate its own currency from the USD for the safety of its own economics.
I don't know if losing the set gold price tied to US dollars has sunk in yet where you are, but when the Greenback is no longer tied to gold, there will be huge ramifications that are irreversible.
What Trump does well is to keep the US on edge with the prospect of an unknown and unknowable future, just like the book 1984.
What Trump declares he will do next, then does, has no reason or reliability. This keeps tensions high and sprits low, intentionally on his part. Part of a cruel and senseless coming dictatorship.
America won't be great again for a very long time.
This is fortunate for China and Russia, who can "capitalize" on the great uncertainty of DJTs isolationist government policies.
China WILL become the world's leading economy very soon now. There's no doubt about that one. Trump has made that happen so much faster than it would have under Harris, for sure.
Once China has the world's leading economy, they will be quick to fill in all the gaps left by the quick departure of all USAID funding.
Either that, or they will make a great deal with Putin and Russia to simply take over any other country they wish to.
Once China becomes the world's greatest economy, well, they have the liberty to do whatever they like. Yes, they can rule the world.
And who's goingvto stop them?
When Trump repeatedly declared bankruptcy many times over the past 40 years, US banks refused to lend money to him ever again. A citizen who loses banks big bucks, will most certainly be getting loans indiscriminately from elsewhere.
With his dreadful credit rating, Trump turned to Russia and China for loans.
Twice the USA elected the multiple bankrupt Trump as Presidency.
What Americans possibly didn't know, was that Trump never pays off his loans, he just accrues more and more debt, cumulative interest and fees until he declares bankruptcy again.
A dangerous game with communist Russia or China.
Having a president who owes vast millions to communist regimes, means they have your leader by the short and curlies, and they can call in the money anytime they like.
Basically, Trump is caught with his pants down, bare asked over a barrel tossed over Niagra Falls on a very Stormy Daniels day.
I bought a few cheap things from TEMU, owned outright by the Chinese government.
When prices sky-rocket for US shoppers by 10%, 30%, 67%, or whatever percentage Trump insists upon. The US won't be able to buy Temu's ultra cheap goods anymore. Still, the Chinese government has some great leverage with details of about 60 million people's names, addresses, phone numbers, and credit card details.
Believe me, there's a good chance we're on their database.
They know a lot about us, what we purchase. If you're on TikTok regularly as well, there is no doubt the Chinese government can make good use of that info.
Economic superpower is a real superpower.
FINALLY: The two worst things Trump has succeeded in doing is to create a state of confusion where no one knows what is truth or whitewashed fake news anymore.
And, secondly, he's distanced himself from long term strategic allies in a tariff war that hurts his own people most, while sleeping with two historical enemies he owes large sums of money to.
And that puts the USA in a bind.
Pray, unite, support and love eachother. That's my best advice for a country in for a very bumpy ride that may crash at some time because a TV star who shamelessly sacked people, wants to play that ruthless reality show with the USA and the world.
Do what you can to stop him, but keep safe until he is fired.
