Time to Clean House
Donald John Trump is not a happy camper.
Attendance at his 79th birthday party bash on 14 June 25 was sparce in terms of national event size. He expected 250,000 watchers. According to Ben Meiselas (Meidastouch Network), less than 10,000 showed.
Participation in the numerous peaceful No Kings protests around the country and overseas was huge and happy. Ben estimates somewhere between 5 and 10 MILLION folk of all ages, genders, skin colors, and countires of origin mingled, marched, sang, danced, hollared, and hugged.
Expect the Mad King to bristle at the offense. If the past be prologue, he will double down on occupying sanctuary cities with sworn national and seized state forces carrying arms against persons protesting illegal and immoral migrant resettlement programs.
His administration already has promised to use force of arms in the following states, if aggressive ICE agents need more protection than masked features and more authority than warrantless seizures of persons and property:
1. California;
2. Colorado;
3. Connecticut;
4. Illinois;
5. Massachusetts;
6. New Jersey;
7. New York;
8. Oregon; and,
9. Washington.
Some politically aggressive red state governors, like Greg Abbott in Texas, already have called their guards into service at present and suspected hotspots like Austin and/or San Antonio.
Scared to Deaf
In days of yore, prior to Election 2024, the size, volume, and commitment of the NO KING protesters would have captured the attention and revised the conduct of duly elected representatives to Congress.
1. Course correction on the implementation of rogue executive actions would have been demanded, then legislated;
2. Articles of impeachment would have issued in a fury of righteous indignation;
3. The SAVE Act would be trashed;
4. The Big Beautiful Bill woud have been replaced post-haste with a sane and meaningful budget proposal; and,
5. Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito would fear for their connubial priviledges.
Not now.
They look at the vanquished and tremble.
As of June 2025,
1. Elon Musk (CEO of Tesla and SpaceX and owner of X, the successor to Twitter) is the richest man in the world, with a net worth of approximately $369 billion, according to Yahoo Finance;
2. Following him are Mark Zuckerberg (CEO of Meta [Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp]), with a net worth of $245 billion); and,
3. Jeff Bezos ((Founder of Amazon and owner of The Washington Post, with a net worth of $234 billion.)
All three men surrendered their corporate images, integrities, and operations to the Mad King before he took his second oath of office. Last week, Elon Musk caved to the Mr. Big Stuff in less than 96 hours of a public Jello fight.
What’s a humble public servant to do when titans rage?
The sitting president and both political parties are warning our elected representatives to stand down and shut up.
Lest they be replaced with more pliable persons in the forthcoming primaries.
And, that is the point of great and abiding importance in this moment on history’s hinge.
Wise Up and Rise Up
You duly elected congressional representatives most likely are cowards at best and corrupt at worst.
With very few exceptions, they live and work under the protection of the funding umbrella of their respective political party.
Here’s the rub. They have surrendered their Article One powers to the implementation of the Project 2025 playbook. Ask yourself—when, why, who, and how? Here’s the answer: Not you. Not We the People.
Not since the Supreme Court unleashed the Billionaire Boys Club in 2010 (Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission) by deciding that independent expenditures were not inherently corrupting.
Among the five justices supporting the notion that power could not be bought were Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito.
They are each and both corrupt, demonstrably pussy-whipped, and of judgment too partisan to be considered impartial. They are the finest jurists money can buy. Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch are voting in line with their retirement plans.
There is absolutely nothing to impede the Mad King’s self-enriching and politically toxic second term in office except We the People disappointed in the results and consequences of Election 2024.
The Hands-Off rallies on 07 April 25 were encouraging.
The No Kings protests of 14 June 25 are an important beach head in the fight to regain control of the narrative. According to Erica Chenoweth, a Harvard political scientist, history shows that when 3.5% of the population of a country engage in sustained and non-violent campaigns of resistance, change happens. That percentage calculates to 9 million persons in these barely United States—about the population of New York City and the upper limit of estimated public participants in the No Kings events. You can rest assured that purses are being deployed privately and strategically against the bottom lines of corporate DEI traitors like Lowes, Target, and Walmart.
Some of the happiest and most encouraging moments associated with Resistance 2.0 arise like an unexpected song every time the editors of The Washington Post release to the public the accurate and truthful work of eager field reporters. The Post’s fair coverage of No Kings gatherings was timely, exceptional, and welcome.
Spring House Cleaning
Here is the state of play.
If ever you have contributed to a political campaign, the party with which your candidate affiliated his/her self thereafter will subject you to incessant pleas and demands for additional funding, always on an emergency basis.
This aggressive fund-raising strategy is irritating as to rate of solicitations and demeaning as to assumption of political naivete.
Our Quisling congress is displaying a regrettable lack of responsiveness and character.
David Corn and Leaders We Deserve are sounding a clarion call for corrective action:
“…we need to elect a new generation of bold, progressive leadership…who don’t need parades…criminalize protests…We’re tired of waiting for our turn while corrupt politicians…try to burn it all down and threaten our futures.” 14 June 25
The time has come to clean out the House.
Manifesto
Removing the Mad King and associated evils as quickly as possible is immediately necessary. It is not the end game. The Turmp 2.0 damage is deep and the rot is institutionalized. It will take a long time and directed effort to mend the badly battered body of our betrayed and abused ship of state.
It is essential to the proper operation of our form of government that persons of sound character and good purpose occupy positions of power and action within it.
Look for them among your comrades in resistance this summer, fall, and winter. Find them where they are. Grow them where we can. Support their candidacy in the Spring of 2026 with our persons and our purses. Insist upon their success at the ballot box come the Fall of 2026 and require their faithful service at every level of government in every place of influence and power every day of the next two years.
Pay the price of freedom.
Be vigilant.
We have the right and the duty to defend ourselves against Trump 2.0, unresponsive representatives, and corrupt jurists. We are entitled to sue for violations of law and/or betrayal of trust. The damage is real and quantifiable.
We have the ability and the will to restore the American Dream to a better, stronger place than where the implementation of Project 2025 found and leaves it.
Tomorrow starts right now in every willing heart and determined mind.
Read each Executive Order. Proclamation, and rogue shadow docket holding. Resist them in every place and every way they damage your life and attack your value system.
Refuse to be the victim of distraction, deflection, or division.
Keep calm and stay purposeful.
1. Seek out and support organizations which defy political party fund-raising machines designed to protect non-responsive incumbents;
2. Resume empty chair protest events for both parties;
3. Keep the pressure on the bottom lines of the traitorous Big Boys. Do not give Tesla any reason to think the damage done by Elon Musk is forgotten or forgiven; and,
4. Make this 4th of July a day history will remember as pivotal to the reclaiming of the power by the governed in a failing experiment in self-governance.
Anthem
The time is ripe for Resistance 2.0 to become even more bold.
Increase the volume and instances of resistance.
Hats off to those who are planning, supporting, and attending visible signs of a growing resistance to Trump 2.0 across the nation throughout June and on 04 July 25. And all honor and glory to the educational institutions, lower court justices, politicians, lawyers, journalists, and media spokespersons defying implementation of the illegal aspects of the Project 2025 playbook.
Let us continue to be faithful, strategic, and strong in our resistance to the fact and effects of his Reign of Terror and Tour of Revenge.
Let us continue to pull up our socks and step into the breach now, every Power of One person dissatisfied with the results and consequences of Election 2024.
Let us continue to put into play our persons and our purses every day in every peaceful way everywhere all at once to demand:
The elimination of the Big Beautiful Bill. Draft a reasonable and sustainable budget that maintains the social network and personal rights put into law and custom in the last 80 years.
A return to positions of principle those persons, institutions, and organizations betraying a public trust in their integrity when bending a knee, kissing the ring, funding the personal wealth, or furthering the ambitions of Donald John Trump.
The bringing of criminal charges against Musk and articles of impeachment against Trump.
Resumption of support of Ukraine, NATO, WHO, IMF and related international organizations and accords dedicated to the proposition of global peace, health, and prosperity.
The bringing of articles of impeachment against corrupt justices now contaminating the opinions of the high court.
Referendum and recall of congressional representatives not faithful to their oath of office and/or unresponsive to the concerns and wishes of their constituents.
Creation of a Shadow Cabinet charged with daily briefings of administrative assaults upon the rule of law, the health, safety, and welfare of We the People, and simple decency.
Course correction on the conduct of matters related to national security.
Open, timely, and impartial consideration of and rulings on pleadings regarding the constitutionality of executive and administrative actions taken by Trump 2.0 and its implementation of the Project 2025 playbook.
Our statue of liberty has broken chains at her feet.
This administration does not have our leave to reinstall ancient constraints on her or us. The tide is turning in favor of Resistance 2.0. Let us raise our sails of resolve and ride the rising wind of redemption.
I truly believe that right is might.
Deny despair. Be determined and strategic. Inspire yourself. Strengthen others.
Resist. Persist. Prevail.

I bet that the No Kings group will have an Independence Day celebration. Here's hoping the numbers for that march exceed the 3.5% of our nation's population! This is a reference to the study by Harvard's Carr Center's Erica Chenoweth, which found that "Nonviolent protests are twice as likely to succeed as armed conflicts – and those engaging a threshold of 3.5% of the population have never failed to bring about change." I believe this weekend's crowd was about 3%... tick-tick-tick
Overcoming inertia is the most important part of change. When 5 to 10 million people in cities across America get up, make signs, march, gather, sing, hug, and find power in their peaceful resistance, the next step is easier. A body in motion stays in motion; a body at rest stays at rest. The daily horrors of illegal actions and lies are moving millions out of their rest zones. We see that there's no miracle, but there are millions of steps FORWARD, in a course correction that will get us back to a place that is safe, free, loving, and financially sustainable.
